a game that MUST be played

Some weeks ago I played for first time “BRAID“, and I am looking forward to play it again. However, until now I am able to recommend it openly to anyone that is interested in new challenges.

Also through this game I confirm once again: CREATIVITY goes beyond everything !

TekMyst: the magical ants will survive this winter!!!!

The score results of TekMyst, conducted on week 35 are:  (players + ants ) won by 855 points above the (laziness + jealousy).

Hip hip HURRAY!!!

I must say: “Phew!” . On the last weekend of August, I had my doubts about the final result. Nevertheless, human kind definitely is more playful than we believe.

Thanks to all the players that made this success possible, and special thanks to the incredible team that work together to make this a reality.

Now some days off to recharge energy, before the analysis of these data! 🙂

TekMyst

It is amazing to see running this week TekMyst. 😉

Today, we had around 40 participants, and all of them took action playing in the museum. Thanks to their participation and good job, I can proudly say: we are beating the laziness and jealousy.  We might save the ants this time 😉 (for a better understanding please read the story of the game).

There is A LOT to say and write from so many perspectives regarding this intensive week. However, at this point the energy is scare, and it is urgent to recharge. (read: need to go to bed).  But  before put myself in recharge mood I can confirm: “teamwork dived the workload and multiplies the success”.  😉

More tomorrow!

TekMyst

On behalf of an outstanding team, through this post I make an invitation to try TekMyst in Helsinki from August 26th. to 31st.

If you had tried SciMyst you have an idea. However, everything keeps on developing, then let’s see the improvements 🙂 .Looking forward to hear your opinion after you had tried it !

More updates about TekMyst will follow up in this blog 🙂

learning is not easy

this one is not a theoretical post, I am practicing. In other words: I am trying to learn something and I wonder if it is possible to learn something without pain?

I know the attitude of the learner has a relevant role on how each person deals with the learning process. This process implies to fall several times, to face frustration, to invest a lot of time and effort before see any tiny result. But is this painful process needed always?

Perhaps it is personality, because for example for me to be open to discover something or to listen new perspectives and try to understand them is enjoyable. Even if it implies effort to discover all that process, but I cannot compare that effort with the effort that implies to build a new habit or create a new skill. One is pleasure in a short term while the other is pain with hope of pleasure in a long run.

It gets worse if I have to unlearn and re-learn again. Yeap, what am I doing? This “life long learning” is not that easy.

Perhaps that is why persistence should be a good ally of learning, however at moments that persistence sounds more to masochism.

Oh well! I will keep on this….
